Il s’agit du jeu Star Wars Miniatures publié par Wizards of the Coast, comparable à leur gamme D&D Miniatures. Chaque figurine est prépeinte et accompagnée d’une carte de caractéristiques. Les escouades sont constituées selon un système de points, généralement autour de l’une des neuf factions disponibles. Les parties prennent la forme d’escarmouches centrées sur les personnages, jouées sur une grille carrée. À ne pas confondre avec Star Wars Miniatures Battles de West End Games ni avec Star Wars Miniatures: Starship Battles de Wizards of the Coast.
